Military Vetronics Architectures

Course running on 1st - 2nd May 2012

 

The Military Vetronics Architectures is a CPD course run by the VRC at the University of Brighton, designed to provide a clear strategy for new military vetronics capabilities, enhancing existing platforms and designing the military vehicles of the future.
Successful completion of the course provides 10 Credits towards a Masters (MSc - Level 7) degree.

 

Learning objectives:

  • Identify, categorise and critically evaluate Vetronics architectures and their requirements within platform integration in relation to Generic Vehicle Architecture (GVA) and Vehicle Systems Integration (VSI) Standards and Guidelines.
  • Systematically analyse individual stages of the Vetronics life-cycle and identify important considerations in relation to the procurement process of military vehicles.
  • Analyse and evaluate processes, to support through-life capability management.
